XX Committee turns one!

One year, ninety posts, almost 100,000 visitors – what a year it’s been.

I started this blog on 6 July 2012 as an outlet for my musings on lots of intelligence and security-related things, and it’s been a busy time for me.

We’ve had lots of counterintelligence stuff, haven’t we? Spies, scandals, terrorists, and of course this minor Snowden thing …

XX Committee has not been a big help to the book I’m trying to finish but it’s been a lot of fun and it’s helped me hone my thinking on some complex issues.

I’ve appreciated all the great feedback I’ve gotten from you, dear readers, and I appreciate that you take time out of your busy lives to check out what I’ve got to say here.

Thanks & Regards,

John

For the past three years, I’ve avoided the news like it’s the plague. Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions about the Snowden affair. I started following you on twitter when someone retweeted one of your statements.

Congrats, John. Running a blog on the kind of issues you deal with is especially challenging given the, um, sometimes excitable folks it brings out the woodwork. You’ve been educating people here, including me.

I’ll be down the hall pissing off the millennials. Cheers 🙂
